阪神淡路大震災から２６年

1995年1月17日は、毎年書かせていただいてるように、神戸市東灘区に在るナミねぇの実家が全焼した日です。


全焼した実家

豊かとはいえない暮らしの中で、力を合わせて自宅を購入した両親にとって、震災と自宅焼失は想像を超えるショックやったと思うけど、その両親も今は鬼籍に入り、三人の子ども(ナミねぇと二人の弟)は、両親が必死で再建した自宅を拠点に、米国で、日本各地で活動しています。

子どもたちに「たくましく生きる」ことを教えてくれた両親に改めて感謝を捧げたいと思います。

そして今日～2021年1月17日は、震災から26年。「震災の日に生まれた赤ちゃんは、もう26歳なんやなぁ！」との感慨から、自分自身が26歳だった頃を思い出しました。

やんちゃな長男ヒロアキが4歳、重度の脳障害を持って授かった長女マキが1歳で、ナミねぇは片腕にマキを抱っこし、もう一方の手に「おしめと哺乳瓶を詰め込んだ大きな袋」を抱えて、病院周りをしてました。

今年26歳になった多くの方々に、その人の数だけの日常があり、その中に自身が障害を持つ方、ご家族の方もたくさんおられると思います。 もしかしたら、障害をネガティブなことと思われる方が多いかもしれへんけど、私にとってマキを授かったことは「自分を変えることの出来る最大のパワーを得た」という感覚が与えられた出来事でした。

ナミねぇは、どうしようもない不良娘で、両親にそれはそれは苦労をかけたんやけど、それは私自身が自分の意志でやってたこと。 でもマキの障害は、マキには全く責任が無いからです。 いわば「道を外れて生きてきた私に、普通の道を歩まない娘が授かった」ことで、真に「社会常識から外れた生き方が許される母子になった」という、実に不遜なパワーが与えられた…と思ったところが、不良娘ならではやったんでしょうね(笑)

いずれにしても、マキから与えられたたくさんの出来事の結果が、26歳から46年後の、現在のナミねぇです。 今日まで、見守り、支えてくださった多くの方々に改めて感謝を捧げます。

そして、コロナのせいで昨年から全く面会も帰省外泊もできてないけど、愛しくてたまらない「恩師」マキに、最大の感謝を捧げます。

コロナ、早く終息せえよ～！！！！
